About US
Aerospace innovative structural design laboratory is established under the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of the University of Tokyo in April 2020. Our main objectives are
- to research on structural design and optimization of innovative lightweight composite aerospace structure towards higher performance and lower manufacturing costs for future aerospace plane.
- to conduct feasibility study of hydrogen powered aircraft based on conceptual aircraft design technique.
- to educate researchers and engineers with the basic skill and knowledge about advanced composite material and computational mechanics to realize an innovative structural design and its social implementation.
